Maternal Child Health Field Program

Home visits are made during the prenatal and postpartum period to provide education, guidance, referrals, and support to clients. The target population consists of Health Department childbearing and childrearing families with emphasis on prenatal, postpartum and newborn clients.

Services are also provided to children with existing problems and those at risk for health or social problems and/or developmental delays. Services include health care management, assessment, education and referrals. Services are available to any child under 21 years of age living in Fayette County.
