Child Health Clinic
The Health Department's Primary Care Center at 650 Newtown Pike offers check-ups and sick child appointments for children and youth ages 0-21 years.
Pediatric Clinic services include:
- Sick-child care
- complete physical exams
- immunizations
- vision and hearing testing
- lead screening, tuberculosis skin testing, sickle cell testing,
- dental inspection and counseling
- developmental testing on children under age 6,
- referrals for nutrition counseling and other Health Department programs.

Clinic services are offered:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
- Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- First and third Wednesday of each month 10 a.m - 4:30 p.m.
- All other Wednesdays 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
A minimum fee of $10.00 is required at the time of visit in most cases. Insurance, KCHIP, Medical Card, cash and credit card are accepted. Proof of income is required to qualify for a sliding scale of reduced fees based on household income.
