Child Health Clinic

The Health Department's Primary Care Center at 650 Newtown Pike offers check-ups and sick child appointments for children and youth ages 0-21 years.

Pediatric Clinic services include:

  • Sick-child care
  • complete physical exams 
  • immunizations 
  • vision and hearing testing
  • lead screening,  tuberculosis  skin testing, sickle cell testing,
  • dental inspection and counseling
  • developmental testing on children under age 6,
  • referrals for nutrition counseling and other Health Department programs.

Clinic services are offered:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • First and third Wednesday of each month 10 a.m - 4:30 p.m.
  • All other Wednesdays 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

A minimum fee of $10.00 is required at the time of visit in most cases.  Insurance, KCHIP, Medical Card, cash and credit card are accepted. Proof of income is required to qualify for a sliding scale of reduced fees based on household income.
